Location within the skeleton
The location of a bone lesion within the skeleton can be a clue in the differential diagnosis. The above illustration shows the preferred locations of the most common bone tumors. In some locations, such as in the humerus or around the knee, almost all bone tumors may be found.

- Aneurysmal Bone Cyst
tibia, femur, fibula, spine, humerus
-Adamantinoma
tibia shaft, mandible
-Chondroblastoma
