-Diffusion image: hyper signal
-T1 Contrast image:
No enhancement.
Presence of diffusion hyper signal and absence of contrast uptake favor Cholesteatoma.


-Inflammation chch.by
-Diffusion: No signal changes.
-T1 c.s.: Contrast enhancement(granulation tissue).
Presence of contrast enhancement and no signal changes in diffusion image favor inflammation.
Both are hyper intense inT2,hypo in T1.
