US FINDINGS:
-Well defined homogenous cystic lesion.
-Posterior acoustic enhancement.
-Abscense of doppler signal.
-No mural or internal soft tissue nodules.
D.D.of a cystic hepatic lesion with mural or internal nodules
-cystic malignant tumors such as cystadenocarcinoma favoured by
*thickened irregular enhancing wall.
*internal septation.
*heterogenity
-cystic metastases.
-hydatid cyst type 1 favoured by
*peripheral calcification
*thickened wall(1-2mm).
*abscense of contrast enhancement.
